Why are you moving from listings to a membership model?

Over time, the role of Visit East of England and the Suffolk and Norfolk LVEP has grown beyond individual website listings.

Alongside listings, we now deliver destination marketing, content creation, PR activity, events, awards, travel trade engagement and ongoing industry communications. Moving to a membership model allows us to bring this wider support together into a clearer, more consistent offer, while continuing to provide strong online visibility for businesses.


Do I lose my website listing?

No. Existing listed businesses will continue to have a presence on Visit East of England and either Visit Norfolk or Visit Suffolk as part of the transition to membership.

Both Core and Enhanced membership levels include a business listing, ensuring businesses remain visible to visitors using our websites.


What happens at renewal?

If you currently hold a listing with us, you will move onto LVEP membership as part of the transition to the new model.

At renewal, your membership level will be aligned to your current listing type:

  • Silver listings will move to Core membership

  • Gold listings will move to Enhanced membership

We will share clear information ahead of renewal so you understand what is included and what happens next. If you would like to discuss your membership level at any point, you can contact us.


Will my listing be transferred to the new websites?

Yes. When the new websites go live, your existing listing will be transferred across so your business continues to have an online presence on Visit East of England and either Visit Norfolk or Visit Suffolk.

As part of the transition, we may ask you to review your listing details to make sure everything is accurate and up to date.


Can I move between Core and Enhanced?

Yes. If you would like to discuss changing your membership level, you can contact us and we will talk through the options.


Do I have to upgrade to Enhanced membership?

No. Enhanced membership is optional.

Core membership is designed to provide strong online visibility and access to LVEP’s wider marketing and industry support. Enhanced membership is available for businesses that would benefit from additional exposure, promotion and included benefits.

You will be able to choose the option that best fits your business.


What if I only want a website listing?

Website listings are now provided as part of LVEP membership rather than as a standalone product.

This approach ensures that all listed businesses are supported within a broader framework that includes marketing, communications and destination promotion, while maintaining a clear and consistent offer across the region.


How does membership benefit my business?

LVEP membership supports your business through a combination of digital visibility and wider destination activity.

Benefits may include:

  • A business listing across LVEP consumer websites

  • Opportunities for content inclusion, campaigns and PR

  • Access to events, awards and industry insight

  • Representation through travel trade activity

  • Regular communications and updates

The exact benefits available depend on your membership level.


What if I do nothing right now?

You do not need to take any action at this stage.

This initial communication is intended to introduce the change and provide clarity. We will contact you directly with practical information ahead of your renewal, including timescales and next steps.


Will there be onboarding support for members?

Yes. We will be running member onboarding workshops to support businesses as they move onto the new websites and membership model.

These sessions will walk through how to access and use the Members Portal, update listings and make the most of available membership benefits. Workshops will be practical and designed to support different levels of confidence with digital tools.

Further details, including dates and how to book, will be shared with members ahead of the website launch.


What is the Members Portal?

The Members Portal is a dedicated area for LVEP members.

It will be the main place where businesses can:

  • Update and manage their business listing

  • Add and manage events

  • Add offers (for Enhanced members)

  • Access member-only resources, information and updates

The portal is designed to make it easier for businesses to manage their presence and engage with LVEP activity in one place.


How do I access the Members Portal?

Log-in details for the Members Portal will be shared directly with members after the new websites go live.

Once you receive your log-in information, you’ll be able to access the portal and start managing your listing and membership features. Support and guidance will be available as part of the onboarding process.


When will the new websites go live?

The new Visit East of England, Visit Norfolk and Visit Suffolk websites are scheduled to go live in Spring 2026.

We will keep members updated as the launch approaches and will share clear guidance on what to expect and when.
