Flatford Mill, managed by the National Trust, is where Constable painted the Hay Wain. Set within the Dedham Vale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and beside the River Stour, Flatford is a lovely place to explore – look at the mill and Willy Lott’s House and you might feel as if you’re walking through one of Constable’s paintings.
