London Stansted Airport, the International Gateway to the East of England, is the fastest-growing in the country, with in-bound flights from around the world.
Situated in north Essex, between Cambridge and London, London Stansted is on the M11 motorway and has excellent road links to the region.
Stansted is a base for a number of major European low-cost barriers, being the largest base for low-cost airline Ryanair with over 100 destinations served by the airline. Other carriers include AirBerlin and Flybe. The Stansted Express is a direct train service to London Liverpool Street, and the rail network from here takes in all of East Anglia, including Cambridge, Colchester, Norwich and Ipswich.
London Stansted is well-connected by coach networks and has a variety of hire car companies.
With daily KLM flights from Schiphol Airport in The Netherlands, Norwich International Airport is one of the best-connected airports in the country. Schiphol Amsterdam is a major international hub airport, with extensive worldwide connectivity.
Norwich International is located a few miles to the north of the city and is linked by public transport.

London Southend is also an international airport.
