See, Make & Do – Snape Maltings

Six of the East of England’s most exciting arts spaces are coming together this February half-term to present a variety of hands-on, mostly cost-free, family- friendly activities.

Whether that be…
holding a tune here at Snape Maltings
crafting costumes at the Norwich Theatre Royal
getting scientific at The Red House
throwing shapes at DanceEast
applying gory stage make- up at New Wolsey Theatre
or building your very own book at the National Centre for Writing
there’s something new to See, Make & Do for all ages this half-term.

Snape Maltings is the home of the world- renowned Aldeburgh Festival and Snape Proms, as well as a year-round series of prestigious concerts and events.

Nature Trail
Pick up a Nature Trail map from our Visitor Centre or Little Rascals shop and find our friends around Snape Maltings. The Nature Trail ends in Little Rascals where there’s a chance to complete our fun activity sheets and enter our free prize draw. Have fun!

Aldeburgh Young Musicians Open Session
The international Beethoven Pastoral Project reflects the relationship between creativity and nature, and current concern about environmental neglect. AYM explore these topics in music, composition and performance.

Sing with Group A
at St Margaret’s Church Centre

An opportunity for young people aged 8-18 to try singing with Group A: a free vocal group for young people in Ipswich and Lowestoft as run by Snape Maltings.
