The museums of Suffolk and their numerous cultural partners have developed a series of local historic walks and trails throughout the county under the banner, Suffolk Steps.
The free walks are designed to help all ages stay active and uncover Suffolk’s hidden history from the lost city of Dunwich to the largest Millennium Green in England at Halesworth.
You can explore Suffolk Steps by viewing the trails online or printing the guides from the campaign’s webpage.
The 14 walks include an arty stroll around Gainsborough’s Sudbury, a Pirate Treasure Hunt around Bury St Edmunds and a gentle wander around Benjamin Britten’s Aldeburgh.
Walkers are encouraged to share their trips, pictures and stories using the hashtag #SuffolkSteps.
