Visit East of England’s unspoiled coastal and inland waters and the unique Broads National Park

The East of England has sailing on the coast, boating in The Fens, punting on the Cam, and row boats at Thorpeness and Holkham, but it’s the Broads that sailors visit the region for.Stretching across Norfolk and Suffolk, the Broads are more than 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterways set in beautiful countryside with picturesque towns and villages and many riverside restaurants and pubs to visit. That’s more waterways than Venice!

The best way to discover the Broads properly is by boat – you’ll find real adventure, with hidden places to explore, perfect fishing spots and wildlife at every turn. Bring your bird spotters’ book with you! The Broads are also the only English National Park with a city in it – make sure you find time to visit Norwich during your stay. Broads’ motor cruisers have all the comforts of home, or you can hire a day boat for a leisurely pootle.
