Rainbow cottage is the left hand cottage of two quaint little brick and carrstone cottages converted approximately 120 years ago from 'Greenhaven'. The building was originally a barn over 420 years old. Sedgeford is a small, friendly village renowned for its remains of Saxon villas and earlier artefacts found in nearby fields. The very popular local pub is only a couple of minutes walk away with its superb restaurant and local ales. The coast at Hunstanton is just 4 miles, the port of King's Lynn is 15 miles and the Royal Estate of Sandringham is only 4 miles distant. The area is perfect for dog walking, rambling and bird watching with local bird reserves at Snettisham, Holme and Titchwell. The Roman road of Peddars Way runs through the village, from Holme right through to Thetford.

Rainbow Cottage is an appealing little cottage, with a charming, enclosed rear patio garden ideal for sitting out with garden furniture and BBQ. Parking is close by. The cottage has recently been refurbished, keeping several little interesting features, offers modern accommodation and very comfortably furnished to a high standard throughout. Suitable for breaks at any time of year, the cottage walls are very thick thus retaining heat in the cold months and keeping cool in hotter weather, although there are Rointe electric heaters in most rooms. Sleeps total of 5; Double bed and child's chair-bed (space for cot), with living room having double sofa-bed. Has been described by its many guests as "home from home with everything you could want", "spotlessly clean", "very romantic" and "a lovely cottage in which to spend Christmas".

Dog friendly. Your Dog magazine has issued Rainbow Cottage 4 stars. 3 Star Gold Award from Visit England.
