Applications Now Closed
Thank you to everyone who submitted an application for the Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards 2026. The application window closed on Friday 4th July 2025. We’re now moving into the judging phase, which takes place over summer and early autumn.
Finalists will be announced in early October. Judging is carried out in two stages – a review of all applications followed by anonymous site visits for shortlisted entrants.
For applicants of Tourism Event/Festival of the Year judging is carried out in two stages – a review of all applications followed by a public vote of shortlisted events and festivals. This will take place between
Monday 22nd September at 9am and run until Sunday 5th October at midnight.

Celebrating our region’s best in tourism
The Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards are now open for entries. Organised by Visit East of England (the Suffolk & Norfolk LVEP), the awards champion the people and places that make our visitor economy thrive – from heritage attractions and glamping retreats to family-run pubs and cultural destinations.
What’s new for 2026?
This year brings a refreshed programme with:

A longer entry period, open from 13 May to 4 July 2025 – giving you more time to craft a strong application.

New categories spotlighting arts, culture, events and festivals, ensuring the full diversity of our region’s offer is celebrated.

A £10 application fee per category, introduced to help support the delivery of the awards and a high-quality, inclusive celebration.

A public vote for Event/Festival of the Year, giving audiences a chance to support their favourite local experience.

A live application support webinar, offering practical tips to help you make the most of your entry (Sign up here).

A new finalists’ networking event, providing a chance to connect with fellow shortlisted businesses and hear more about the judging process ahead of the February 2026 awards night.
