Finalists Networking Event

On Thursday 15 January, finalists, sponsors and the awards team came together for a Finalists’ Networking Breakfast at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park.

The breakfast created a relaxed space for finalists, sponsors and the LVEP and awards team to spend time together ahead of the awards night. It was a chance to catch up in person, make new connections and hear a few key updates on the awards process and what’s coming next.

After breakfast, finalists were invited to join a guided tour of Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park, giving them the opportunity to experience the attraction first-hand and continue conversations as they explored the site. The morning was a chance to spend time together, put faces to names and continue conversations in a relaxed, informal setting.

‘Thank you to everyone who joined us at the recent finalists’ networking event at Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park,’ said Holly Oakland of Visit East of England, who is organising the awards with colleague Laura Gissing. ‘It was great to see so many finalists and partners coming together, and our huge thanks to Stevie, Lauren and the Jimmy’s Farm team for hosting.’

Judging for the Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards is now in its final stages. Submissions and feedback are currently being collated for VisitEngland, with a winner and runner-up from each core category progressing for national consideration. Businesses advancing to the next stage will be contacted directly by VisitEngland later in the spring, with updates expected in April or May ahead of the national awards in June.

Finalists have been announced on a rolling basis since November, with the full list available on the Visit East of England website.

The Suffolk & Norfolk Tourism Awards night will take place on Thursday 12 March 2026 at The Corn Hall, Diss. Finalists receive two tickets per category, with further details and additional ticket options available online.
