The VisitEngland Awards for Excellence, accredited by the Awards Trust Mark, celebrate the best of English tourism by recognising quality, innovation, and best practices. The awards process begins with local competitions, leading to the national event, where the top businesses receive the most prestigious accolade in English tourism.
Visit East of England
Visit East of England is the official tourism body for Suffolk and Norfolk, representing a £5.6bn visitor economy. As an accredited Local Visitor Economy Partnership (LVEP), it collaborates with Destination Management Organisations (DMOs) and local authorities to provide strategic representation.
Its initiatives, such as the VENI project, aim to change the perception of the tourism sector by promoting excellent career opportunities.
Visit Norfolk
Visit Norfolk represents the county’s £3.5bn visitor economy, working with DMOs like Visit Great Yarmouth and Visit the Broads. It manages marketing campaigns for the county’s local authorities and delivers successful digital communications to its extensive audience.
Visit Suffolk
Visit Suffolk represents the county’s £2.1bn visitor economy, collaborating with DMOs such as The Suffolk Coast and Discover Newmarket. It manages marketing efforts and engages its audience through its website, social media channels, and regular digital communications.
