Win a music, music, music break in Ipswich!

Head East has teamed up with AllAboutIpswich to offer one lucky winner and a guest an exciting weekend of music, theatre and food in Ipswich, the county-town of Suffolk.

You will stay three-nights, from 1st to 4th July, at the independently owned, luxurious Salthouse Harbour Hotel. The hotel is based on the picturesque Ipswich waterfront, full of beautiful yachts, cool quayside bars and the occasional traditional wooden barge.

Following your complimentary breakfast, explore one of England’s oldest towns with over 1,500 years of maritime industry and agricultural heritage. Follow the Blue Plaque trail or simply wander the Tudor and Victorian streets to discover old English sights, sounds and stories throughout Ipswich. To find out more about the history of Ipswich and access maps to plan your visit, explore here.

Over your weekend there will be two incredible music festivals at Christchurch Park to dip into: Global Rhythm & Jazz Festival on Saturday 2 July, celebrating world music and culture alongside workshops, a craft market, art and food, and Ipswich Music Day on Sunday 3 July, the UK’s biggest free music festival with six stages of live entertainment and music from upcoming Suffolk artists.

Back to the hotel for a freshen up before returning to the town with a pair of tickets to see the Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street, on the Saturday night, at the New Wolsey Theatre, the beating heart of dramas, comedies and musicals in Suffolk.

On top of that … we will give the winner a £500 Ipswich Gift Card to spend on dining, shopping, and experiences in Ipswich!

This free prize draw closes on Friday 3 June 2022 and the prize must be taken from Friday 1 July to Monday 4 July 2022 inclusive. Please do not enter if you cannot travel on these dates.
